Exposure to light, air, humidity, air conditioning, light bulbs and PH can damage it. If the jewel has lost its original color, you will only have to wash it with warm water and a neutral soap and dry it with a soft cloth. Be careful if the jewel also has leather, crystals or other materials as these require other care. If the jewel has leather, be very careful not to get it wet or stain it when cleaning the metal part.
